1. Company Information

VetMitra (“Platform”, “VetMitra”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by:

  • Company Name: Dauji Healthcare and Tech Private Limited
  • Address: C-200, C-Sector, Shahpura, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – 462016, India
  • Email: vetmitra.info@gmail.com
  • Website: vetmitra.in

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the VetMitra website, mobile applications, marketplace, professional network, educational services, recruitment features, digital tools and related services.

VetMitra may operate as a direct seller for certain products and as a marketplace facilitating transactions with independent sellers for other products. The applicable seller will be identified in the relevant product listing, checkout, invoice or transaction record.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Platform, creating an account, purchasing a product, enrolling in a course, purchasing a subscription, submitting content or using a paid service, you agree to the applicable Terms and policies presented for that service.

Where required by applicable law, VetMitra will obtain affirmative consent before completing a transaction or processing personal data for a purpose requiring consent.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the relevant service.

Additional policies may apply to particular services, including:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Shipping, Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy
  • Veterinary Medicine Sale Policy
  • Equipment Warranty Policy
  • Community Guidelines
  • Verification Policy
  • Courses & Content Policy
  • Jobs & Hiring Policy
  • Advertising & Promotions Policy

These policies form part of the contractual framework to the extent applicable to the service concerned. In case of a conflict, mandatory law will prevail, and the specific policy applicable to the transaction will govern the relevant operational details to the extent legally permissible.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete and current information when creating or maintaining an account.

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate another individual, professional or organisation.
  • Submit false identity, qualification, licence or business documents.
  • Create accounts for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
  • Misrepresent your professional status or authority.
  • Circumvent account restrictions or security controls.
  • Use another person's account without authorisation.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.

VetMitra may request additional verification when reasonably necessary for account security, professional verification, regulated transactions or fraud prevention.

4. User Categories and Professional Roles

The Platform may support:

  • Veterinarians and veterinary professionals
  • Veterinary students and educators
  • Clinics and veterinary facilities
  • NGOs and animal welfare organisations
  • Pet shops and animal-feed businesses
  • Retailers, wholesalers and distributors
  • Manufacturers and brands
  • Laboratories and diagnostic providers
  • Researchers and authors
  • Recruiters and employers
  • General customers

A user may hold more than one role, subject to verification and eligibility requirements.

Access to role-specific features depends on applicable permissions, account status and verification requirements. Registration alone does not establish that a user holds a professional licence or business authorisation.

5. Professional Verification

VetMitra may verify identity, veterinary registration, educational status, clinic information, NGO registration, seller credentials, business registration and relevant licences.

Verification may involve document review, official records or other reasonable checks.

A verification badge indicates only the scope of verification described by VetMitra. It does not guarantee professional competence, clinical outcomes, business reliability, product quality or regulatory endorsement.

Users must not misuse badges or claim credentials that have not been verified.

VetMitra may suspend or remove verification when credentials expire, information becomes inaccurate, verification was obtained fraudulently or continued verification is no longer justified.

Verification documents will be handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

6. Marketplace and Seller Responsibilities

Products may be sold by VetMitra directly or by independent third-party sellers.

The Platform will identify the relevant seller as applicable to the transaction.

Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions, prices, stock information, applicable tax details, licences, warranty information and other required disclosures.

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling their applicable legal obligations, including product authenticity, lawful sale, appropriate packaging, accurate representations, dispatch, warranty obligations and valid invoicing.

VetMitra's role in a particular transaction will depend on the actual transaction structure and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes obligations that legally apply to the Platform, the Company or an individual seller.

VetMitra may review, restrict or remove listings that are unlawful, misleading, counterfeit, unsafe or inconsistent with Platform policies.

7. Product Information, Pricing and Availability

Product listings may contain descriptions, images, specifications, composition, ingredients, pack sizes, manufacturer information, MRP, selling price, taxes, stock availability and other details.

Images are intended to represent the product accurately, although minor presentation differences may occur where they do not materially misrepresent the item.

Customers should review the product information, intended use, storage conditions and applicable warnings before placing an order.

Prices, availability and delivery estimates may change before an order is accepted. Any material correction or cancellation will be handled transparently and in accordance with applicable law and the relevant transaction terms.

No substitution of an ordered product will be made without the customer's consent where required.

8. Orders and Contract Formation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products or services.

An automated acknowledgement that an order has been received does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.

Order acceptance, payment confirmation and dispatch status will be communicated through the applicable order process.

Orders may require additional checks for stock availability, payment verification, prescription validity, seller authorisation, delivery restrictions or other legal requirements.

Where an order cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled, VetMitra or the applicable seller will communicate the cancellation and process any eligible refund under the applicable policy and law.

9. Payments, Taxes and Invoices

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment providers.

Customers must provide accurate billing information and must not use payment methods without proper authorisation.

Applicable taxes, delivery charges and other mandatory charges will be disclosed as required before the transaction is completed.

Invoices and transaction records will be issued by the applicable seller or service provider in accordance with the relevant legal requirements.

Payment processing and refund settlement may depend on banking networks and payment providers. VetMitra will communicate the applicable procedure and initiate eligible refunds within the timelines stated in its published policy.

VetMitra will not ask customers to disclose their full payment-card PIN, banking password or similar confidential authentication credentials through customer support.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping availability, delivery estimates, applicable charges, tracking and delivery conditions will be displayed or communicated through the relevant order process.

Delivery times may be affected by stock availability, logistics disruptions, weather, public restrictions, address errors or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Customers must provide accurate delivery details and reasonable assistance for delivery.

Any delivery failure, damaged package, missing item or suspected tampering should be reported through the published support process within the applicable reporting period.

Nothing in this section limits remedies available under applicable consumer law.

11. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

Orders are governed by the separate Shipping, Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

That policy will explain:

  • When an order may be cancelled.
  • Whether cancellation is available after dispatch.
  • How wrong, damaged, defective, expired or missing products are handled.
  • Which products are eligible for return or replacement.
  • Any lawful restrictions for medicines, vaccines, consumables and temperature-sensitive products.
  • The inspection and return-pickup procedure.
  • Refund approval and processing timelines.
  • Refund treatment for courses, subscriptions and other digital services.

A product will not be treated as exempt from statutory remedies merely because it is marked “non-returnable”.

Any exclusions must be disclosed before purchase and applied consistently with applicable law.

12. Veterinary Medicines and Regulated Products

Veterinary medicines, vaccines and other regulated products will be offered only through legally permissible channels and subject to applicable Indian laws, licensing conditions and restrictions.

Where a prescription or professional authorisation is required, the relevant verification must be completed before dispensing.

Users must not purchase, supply, resell, administer or distribute regulated products in violation of applicable law.

Sellers and dispensing entities must comply with their applicable licensing, prescription, storage, labelling, recordkeeping and other regulatory obligations.

VetMitra may restrict, reject or cancel an order when the applicable legal requirements cannot be satisfied. Eligible refunds will be handled according to the relevant policy and law.

Product listings and educational content are not a substitute for an appropriate veterinary consultation, examination or prescription.

13. Product Safety, Batch, Expiry and Recalls

Where relevant to the product category, sellers must maintain appropriate product traceability, batch or lot information, expiry information, storage controls and recall procedures.

Products must not be knowingly supplied if expired, counterfeit, recalled or otherwise prohibited from sale.

Customers should follow product labelling and storage instructions and report suspected defects, contamination, counterfeit products or adverse events through the published support channel.

VetMitra may suspend affected listings, notify relevant parties, facilitate investigations and coordinate appropriate corrective action when necessary.

14. Equipment Warranty and After-Sales Service

Equipment warranty coverage is governed by the product-specific warranty information provided before purchase.

The warranty information should identify the responsible warranty provider, duration, coverage, exclusions, claim process, repair or replacement procedure and any applicable service charges.

A manufacturer warranty and a seller warranty are distinct unless expressly stated otherwise.

Warranty exclusions must be clearly disclosed and cannot remove statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Customers should retain invoices, serial numbers, warranty documents and other reasonable evidence needed to process a claim.

15. Professional Networking and User Profiles

Users may create professional profiles, follow other users, send connection requests, share achievements, publish articles and participate in discussions.

Users must ensure that their qualifications, employment history, registration details, publications and professional claims are accurate.

Users must not use another person's identity, registration number, photograph or credentials without appropriate authority.

VetMitra does not guarantee the accuracy of every user-submitted profile or endorsement. Users should independently verify credentials and information where necessary.

Profile visibility and messaging permissions may be governed by the Platform's privacy settings.

16. Posts, Reels, Comments and User-Generated Content

Users may publish text, images, videos, reels, polls, professional discussions, case reports, product recommendations, research summaries and other permitted content.

Users are responsible for the content they submit and must have the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis to share it.

Users must not publish:

  • Copyright-infringing or unlawfully obtained material.
  • Private or confidential information without proper authority.
  • Fraudulent promotions or impersonation content.
  • Harassment, threats or unlawful discriminatory content.
  • Misleading product, treatment or professional claims.
  • Counterfeit-product listings or unlawful advertisements.
  • Content prohibited by applicable law or the Community Guidelines.

VetMitra may review, restrict, remove or disable access to content under its published policies and applicable law.

Users may report content through the available reporting process and submit appeals or grievances through the designated channel.

17. User Content and Intellectual Property Licence

Users retain ownership of content they lawfully own.

By submitting content, users grant VetMitra a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide the services, in accordance with the user's settings, the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the content to VetMitra.

Any use of content for separate commercial advertising, third-party licensing or other purposes beyond the stated operational licence must have an appropriate legal basis and any additional permission required by law.

Users may request removal of their content, subject to lawful retention requirements, other users' rights and legitimate operational needs.

18. Research Papers, Courses and Educational Services

Research papers, courses, webinars, educational notes, certificates and related services may be offered by VetMitra or third-party contributors.

Users must respect copyright, attribution, publication licences, research ethics and applicable confidentiality requirements.

Uploading a research paper does not automatically authorise unrestricted redistribution of copyrighted material.

Course listings will disclose applicable fees, access periods, certificate criteria, cancellation conditions and refund eligibility before purchase.

Certificates will not be represented as statutory licences, recognised qualifications or accredited credentials unless that status is genuine and appropriately verified.

Educational material is informational and does not guarantee examination results, employment, professional recognition or clinical outcomes.

19. Jobs, Hiring and Recruitment

Employers and recruiters must provide truthful job descriptions, compensation information where represented, employer details and eligibility requirements.

Applicants must provide accurate qualifications and application information.

Users should verify job offers and remain cautious of fraudulent recruitment demands or requests for inappropriate payments.

VetMitra does not guarantee employment, successful recruitment or the accuracy of every independent employer's statement.

Candidate information must be processed only for legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy and employment-related requirements.

20. Offers, Coupons and Promotions

Offers and coupons are subject to their disclosed eligibility conditions, validity period, minimum order value, discount limits, product exclusions and redemption rules.

Users must not manipulate offers, create fraudulent accounts, exploit technical errors or engage in unauthorised resale of promotional benefits.

VetMitra may investigate suspected abuse and take proportionate action consistent with applicable law.

Sponsored listings, paid promotions, affiliate links and other commercial relationships will be disclosed where required.

21. Subscriptions and Paid Services

Paid subscriptions will disclose their pricing, billing frequency, access period, renewal conditions, cancellation process and refund terms before purchase.

Users may cancel subscriptions through the designated process.

Cancellation of a future renewal does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund for a previously completed billing period unless the applicable policy, service terms or law provides otherwise.

The Company will not rely on undisclosed recurring charges or misleading renewal conditions.

22. AI Tools and Veterinary Information

VetMitra may provide AI-assisted search, summaries, educational assistance, product recommendations, analytics and other informational tools.

AI-generated output may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate and should be independently verified.

AI output must not be treated as an automatic substitute for professional veterinary judgment, physical examination, diagnostic testing, lawful prescription procedures or emergency care.

Users must exercise professional judgment before acting on clinically significant information.

Users must not upload confidential records or personal information unless they have the necessary authority and the processing is permitted under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

23. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the VetMitra Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law.

The Privacy Policy will describe the data collected, purposes of processing, relevant sharing arrangements, retention, security safeguards, user rights and grievance procedures.

The Company will implement reasonable and appropriate security measures and handle personal information according to its legal obligations.

Where consent is required, it will be obtained through an appropriate mechanism. Users may exercise applicable rights or withdraw consent through the available process, subject to lawful limitations.

Nothing in these Terms removes the Company's obligations concerning data security, breach response or lawful processing.

24. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Commit fraud or engage in unlawful transactions.
  • Sell prohibited or counterfeit products.
  • Manipulate ratings, reviews, rankings or analytics.
  • Access another user's account or data without authorisation.
  • Circumvent technical security controls.
  • Introduce malicious software or conduct unauthorised testing.
  • Harvest personal information unlawfully.
  • Spam users or manipulate engagement.
  • Misuse professional verification or trademarks.
  • Violate intellectual-property rights.
  • Interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the Platform.

Suspected violations may be investigated under the applicable policies and law.

25. Platform Availability and Changes

VetMitra will make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Maintenance, technical failures, security incidents, third-party service interruptions or other circumstances may affect availability.

Features may be modified, added or discontinued where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any commitments associated with paid services.

Material changes to paid services will be communicated as appropriate.

26. Account Suspension and Termination

VetMitra may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful conduct, serious policy violations, security risks or repeated abuse.

Where required by law or appropriate in the circumstances, the user will be informed of the reason and provided an opportunity to respond or appeal.

Users may stop using the Platform and request account closure through the designated process.

Account closure does not automatically eliminate outstanding payment obligations, legally required records or lawful retention requirements.

Personal information will be retained or deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

27. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, delivery providers, educational services or external research resources.

Those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

VetMitra does not automatically endorse every third-party statement or service. The Company's responsibility for its own conduct and obligations remains unaffected.

Users should review third-party terms before using external services.

28. Liability and Consumer Protection

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or waives any liability, consumer protection, warranty, remedy or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

To the extent permitted by law, VetMitra is not responsible for independent third-party statements or actions solely because they appear on the Platform.

This provision does not remove responsibility for the Company's own acts or omissions or obligations imposed on it by law.

Any permitted limitation of liability must be interpreted consistently with applicable Indian law.

29. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users may be responsible for direct losses, claims or reasonable costs arising from their unlawful conduct, fraud, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.

This clause does not impose liability for matters outside a user's responsibility, eliminate mandatory consumer protections or override any legal restriction on indemnity.

30. Force Majeure

Neither party will be treated as having breached an obligation to the extent performance is prevented by an event beyond reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

Examples may include natural disasters, widespread infrastructure failures, government restrictions and major telecommunications disruptions.

This clause does not remove payment, refund, consumer or other obligations that remain legally enforceable.

31. Grievance Redressal

Users may submit complaints relating to orders, payments, accounts, content, verification, privacy or other Platform services.

  • Company: Dauji Healthcare and Tech Private Limited
  • Email: vetmitra.info@gmail.com

  • Grievance Officer: Muskan Bansal, Manager

Complaints should include the user's contact details, relevant order or account reference and a clear description of the issue.

The Company will acknowledge and resolve complaints within the timelines applicable under relevant law and its published grievance procedure.

32. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Disputes will be addressed through the remedies and procedures available under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from approaching a competent consumer commission, regulator or other authority where legally entitled to do so.

Any jurisdiction provision is subject to mandatory statutory jurisdiction and consumer rights.

33. Changes to These Terms

VetMitra may revise these Terms to reflect changes in services, business operations or applicable law.

The latest version and its effective date will be published on the Platform.
