Description

Provide therapeutic whole-body relief for complicated, mixed dermatological flare-ups with Vivaldis Viv Keto Forte Shampoo (200ml), available online at VetMitra. Formulated by Vivaldis Animal Health, this broad-spectrum medicated bath treatment combines three synergistic actives—Ketoconazole, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, and Cetrimide—to target fungal, yeast, and bacterial skin pathogens simultaneously. Canine and feline skin problems frequently present as mixed infections: an allergic itch or fungal break in the dermal barrier allows opportunistic bacteria (Staphylococcus pseudintermedius) and proliferating yeast (Malassezia pachydermatis) to overgrow. Using a single-action cosmetic or mild shampoo often fails to clear the underlying pathogens, leaving the pet trapped in a cycle of constant scratching, greasy crusting, and sour coat odors. Vivaldis Viv Keto Forte breaks this cycle with a multi-pronged clinical approach: Targeted Antifungal Action (Ketoconazole): An imidazole antifungal that inhibits cytochrome P-450-dependent 14α-lanosterol demethylation, preventing ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes. It clears ringworm (Microsporum and Trichophyton species) and controls excessive yeast colonies. Broad-Spectrum Bactericidal Power (Chlorhexidine Gluconate): A cationic bisbiguanide that electrostatically binds to microbial cell walls, causing cytoplasmic leakage and death of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria responsible for folliculitis, epidermal collarettes, and pustular pyoderma. Deep Cleansing & Antiseptic Debridement (Cetrimide): A quaternary ammonium antiseptic surfactant that loosens adherent greasy scales, dissolves stubborn crusts, and cleanses the hair follicles so the antifungal and antibacterial actives can penetrate deep into the dermis. Deodorizes & Controls Seborrhoea: Eliminates the sour, rancid smell characteristic of yeast infections while normalizing epidermal turnover in seborrhoeic conditions.
