Vivaldis TerboPET 250mg (Terbinafine Hydrochloride) Broad-Spectrum Systemic Antifungal Tablets for Dogs & Cats

Select Variant: 1 Strip (10 tablets)

Description

Overcome persistent, widespread fungal infections and restore dermal integrity with Vivaldis TerboPET 250mg Tablets, available online at VetMitra. Cutaneous fungal outbreaks—such as generalized ringworm (Microsporum canis, Trichophyton) and severe yeast overgrowth (Malassezia pachydermatis)—frequently extend beyond the reach of topical shampoos and ointments alone. When left unmanaged systemically, fungal pathogens colonize hair shafts, claw folds, and deeper keratin layers, causing extensive hair thinning, scaly circular crusts, foul greasy odors, and relentless itching. Vivaldis TerboPET provides targeted systemic fungal eradication powered by Terbinafine Hydrochloride (250 mg): True Fungicidal Mode of Action: Unlike azole antifungals (such as ketoconazole or itraconazole) that act primarily as fungistatics, Terbinafine is directly fungicidal against dermatophytes. It selectively inhibits squalene epoxidase in the fungal cell membrane, causing toxic intracellular accumulation of squalene and cell membrane lysis. Keratinophilic & Lipophilic Distribution: Following oral ingestion, Terbinafine rapidly migrates and concentrates in the stratum corneum, sebum, hair follicles, and nails, maintaining inhibitory concentrations at the infection site even after oral therapy is completed. Superior Clinical Safety & Tolerance: Well tolerated by both dogs and cats with minimal disruption to mammalian cytochrome P450 steroid synthesis pathways compared to traditional azoles. Convenient Oral Dosing: Tablets can be administered whole or hidden inside palatable meals for stress-free daily dosing.
