Select Variant: 100 ml

Description

Ensure deep, non-irritating otic hygiene and accelerate the recovery of stubborn ear infections with Vivaldis Clearify Ear Cleanser (100ml), available online at VetMitra. Formulated by Vivaldis Animal Health, Clearify is an advanced, aqueous alkaline flush that goes beyond basic cosmetic cleansers to provide therapeutic antimicrobial cleansing.Recurrent ear infections (otitis externa) in dogs and cats are frequently accompanied by heavy ceruminous discharge, excess moisture, and stubborn microbial biofilms produced by pathogens such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus, and Malassezia yeast. Thick debris acts as a physical shield that inactivates standard ear drops and prevents antibiotics from reaching the irritated canal lining.Vivaldis Clearify provides a targeted multi-action mechanism:Bacterial Wall Permeabilization & Biofilm Breakdown: EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) acts as a powerful chelating agent that binds divalent cations ($\text{Ca}^{2+}$ and $\text{Mg}^{2+}$) responsible for maintaining bacterial cell wall stability and biofilm matrix integrity. This perforates the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria like Pseudomonas.Potentiates Topical Antibiotics: Tromethamine (Tris) buffers and stabilizes the pH into an alkaline range (approx. pH 8.0), creating an unfavorable environment for microbial proliferation while significantly enhancing the antibacterial efficacy of aminoglycosides (such as gentamicin, tobramycin, and amikacin) and fluoroquinolones.Gentle Ceruminolytic Action: Effectively softens and floats out stubborn, waxy buildup and foul-smelling exudate without stinging, burning, or causing ototoxic damage to sensitive canal tissues.
