Virbac Epi-Soothe Hypoallergenic Colloidal Oatmeal Soothing & Hydrating Shampoo for Dogs & Cats (200ml Bottle)

Select Variant: 200 ml

Description

Provide instant soothing relief to dry, inflamed skin and calm relentless itching with Virbac Epi-Soothe Oatmeal Shampoo (200ml), available online at VetMitra. Pets suffering from environmental atopy, flea-bite hypersensitivity, seasonal pollen exposure, or post-parasitic skin irritation experience a disrupted stratum corneum barrier. Standard commercial pet shampoos containing aggressive synthetic soaps strip natural surface sebum, driving transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and intensifying the cycle of scratching, licking, and biting. Virbac Epi-Soothe restores comfort through a gentle colloidal suspension: Anti-Pruritic Colloidal Oatmeal: Finely milled colloidal oat grain is naturally rich in avenanthramides and beta-glucans. Avenanthramides exert targeted anti-inflammatory and anti-histaminic effects, rapidly calming redness, burning sensations, and intense pruritic urges. Deep Hydration & Barrier Emollience: Fortified with humectant agents (such as glycerin and propylene glycol) that bind water molecules directly into the superficial stratum corneum, softening dry scales and re-establishing an elastic, protective epidermal shield. Soap-Free Gentle Cleansing: Lifts away accumulated outdoor pollen, city dust, shedding squames, and allergen particles without stripping natural cutaneous lipids or disrupting the neutral physiological pH of canine and feline skin. Restores Coat Texture & Sheen: Conditions individual hair cuticles to detangle matted or dry fur, leaving the coat soft, lustrous, easy to groom, and lightly fragranced with a clean, fresh scent. Complementary Post-Treatment Soother: Functions as an ideal maintenance or alternating shampoo between harsh therapeutic medicated washes (such as Virbac Ketochlor) to replenish moisture and avoid secondary epidermal dryness.
