Description

Eliminate stubborn mite infestations, resolve patchy alopecia from mange, and clear deep tissue parasites with Intas Neomec 10mg Tablets for Dogs (Strip of 10), available online at VetMitra. Parasitic skin diseases such as demodicosis and scabies represent some of the most frustrating dermatological conditions in dogs across India. Microscopic Demodex mites proliferate within hair follicles and sebaceous glands, causing patchy baldness around the eyes and muzzle, scaling, pustules, and elephant-like skin thickening. Sarcoptic mange mites burrow directly into the stratum corneum, triggering intense pruritus, crusty ear margins, self-mutilation, and severe secondary infections. Standard cosmetic washes and surface tick sprays fail to reach these deep follicular parasites. Intas Neomec delivers systemic clinical clearance through the pharmacological action of ivermectin:Systemic Acaricidal Clearance (Ivermectin IP 10mg): A macrocyclic lactone derived from Streptomyces avermitilis. Ivermectin selectively binds to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in nematode and arthropod nerve and muscle cells. This increases membrane permeability to chloride ions, causing prolonged hyperpolarization, neuromuscular paralysis, and death of mites and microfilariae.High Efficacy in Generalized Demodicosis: Clinically proven to resolve stubborn canine generalized demodicosis (85–90% success rate under structured veterinary therapeutic protocols), clearing mites from deep hair follicles. Oral Eradication of Sarcoptic Mange: Rapidly eliminates scabies mites burrowing in the dermal layers, stopping the intense scratching and crust formation associated with sarcoptic mange.Tissue Larval & Myiasis Clearance: Effective systemic adjunct in clearing tissue-invading larvae in maggot-infested wounds (cutaneous myiasis), complementing topical wound care like Lorexane or wound sprays.Microfilarial Eradication: Used under strict veterinary guidance to eliminate circulating microfilariae in canine heartworm disease management. Palatable Tablet Formulation: Engineered as a flavored oral tablet that can be offered directly from the hand or mixed with food.
