Eliminate stubborn, heavy tick infestations, control flea populations, and soothe parasite-induced scratching with Intas Softas Plus Medicated Dog Shampoo (200ml), available online at VetMitra. During hot and humid post-monsoon months across India, ectoparasite burdens surge exponentially. Ticks not only induce severe physical discomfort, blood loss, and localized skin inflammation, but they also transmit dangerous hemoprotozoan pathogens such as Babesia, Ehrlichia, and Hepatozoon (tick fever). Standard preventative washes containing low active concentrations often struggle against dense coat layers or established tick clusters. When ticks reappear within 5 to 7 days of a standard bath, a clinical step-up in active ectoparasitic concentration is required: Rapid Neuro-Paralytic Knockdown (Propoxur 2.0% w/w): A carbamate-class insecticide and acaricide that acts as a reversible inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE). By preventing acetylcholine breakdown at synaptic junctions in parasites, it causes continuous neuromuscular hyperstimulation, paralysis, and death upon direct contact, forcing buried ticks to release their mouthparts. Double-Strength Penetration for Dense Coats: Formulated at double the concentration of standard 1% propoxur shampoos, providing the chemical penetration needed to reach the dermal level through the heavy undercoats of Labradors, Retrievers, Rottweilers, and Spitz breeds. Breaks Parasite Bite Cycles: Rapid contact mortality stops adult fleas and ticks from feeding, reducing the incidence of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) and blood-loss anemia. Deodorizing & Conditioning Cleansing Base: Emulsifies rancid sebum, lifts environmental debris, and removes musty kennel odors, leaving the coat clean and manageable without stripping essential dermal moisture. Essential Phase-1 Eradication Tool: Serves as the primary contact knockdown phase in a complete two-track pest control regimen (dog bath + environmental sanitization).
