Description

Clear initial ectoparasite burdens, protect household companions from tick-borne infections, and restore clean, itch-free comfort with Intas Softas Medicated Tick & Flea Shampoo (200ml), available online at VetMitra. During hot summer months and humid monsoon periods across Indian cities (such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, and Chennai), companion pets encounter continuous parasite exposure during daily outdoor walks and garden play. Ticks and fleas not only trigger intense scratching, hair loss, and acute Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), but also vector life-threatening hemoprotozoan diseases such as Babesia (tick fever) and Ehrlichia. While routine grooming shampoos wash away surface debris, they do not neutralize blood-feeding parasites. Intas Softas delivers fast-acting, targeted ectoparasite knockdown: Rapid Neuro-Paralytic Knockdown (Propoxur 1.0% w/w): A carbamate-class ectoparasiticide that acts as a reversible inhibitor of the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme in external parasites. Preventing acetylcholine degradation leads to continuous, uncontrolled neuromuscular depolarization, paralyzing ticks, fleas, and lice on contact and forcing them to drop off the host within minutes of bathing. Dual-Species Safety Profile: Unlike permethrin-based shampoos—which are neurotoxic to cats—standard Intas Softas is formulated at a balanced 1% concentration safe for both adult dogs and cats, making it the practical choice for multi-pet households. Routine Preventative & Maintenance Wash: Ideal for early-stage or mild infestations, routine summer prevention, and post-monsoon hygiene before heavy parasite colonies establish. Cleanses & Deodorizes the Coat: Emulsifies greasy sebum, washes out environmental dirt, and neutralizes kennel and wet-fur odors, leaving coats fresh, soft, and easy to comb. First-Line Hygiene Defense: Serves as the immediate physical knockdown component in comprehensive parasite protocols alongside environmental premise sanitation and long-acting monthly spot-ons or tablets.
