Description

Rapidly replenish vital systemic fluids, protect delicate intestinal villi from atrophy, and restore cellular energy reserves with Intas Ordelyte Pet Electrolyte Powder, available online at VetMitra. Gastrointestinal emergencies—such as viral enteritis (canine parvovirus, feline panleukopenia), bacterial food poisoning, severe acute diarrhea, heat stress, and continuous vomiting—rapidly drain water and critical intracellular and extracellular electrolytes from companion animals. Left unchecked, dehydration triggers hypovolemia, electrolyte collapse (hyponatremia, hypokalemia), and metabolic acidosis. During prolonged fluid loss and inappetence, intestinal enterocytes starve, as they derive their primary nutrition directly from the gut lumen. Lack of luminal nutrients causes enterocyte atrophy and blunting of intestinal microvilli, which damages the mucosal barrier, worsens diarrhea, allows bacterial translocation, and delays recovery.Intas Ordelyte provides targeted micro-enteral hydration through its clinical Gut+ Formulation:Isotonic Rehydration Matrix (Sodium-Glucose Co-Transport): Formulated with an isotonic osmolarity profile that matches canine and feline plasma. Dextrose Anhydrous (11.15g) pairs with Sodium Chloride (2.15g) to activate intestinal sodium-glucose luminal co-transporters (SGLT-1). This actively drives water and sodium across the intestinal brush border into the vascular space, rehydrating the pet even during active secretory diarrhea. Micro-Enteral Mucosal Nutrition (Glycine 1.55g): Supplies bioavailable Glycine, an amino acid that acts as an energetic substrate for repairing enterocytes and microvilli. Glycine accelerates mucosal epithelial regeneration, enhances sodium uptake, and helps prevent gut atrophy during fasting or gastroenteritis.Acid-Base & Potassium Buffering (Potassium Phosphate & Potassium Citrate): Replaces intracellular potassium lost through watery stools and vomitus, preventing muscle weakness and cardiac arrhythmias while neutralizing metabolic acidosis.Systemic Cellular Antioxidant Defense (Vitamin C 60mg): Provides L-ascorbic acid to neutralize reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated during gut mucosal inflammation, supporting cellular resilience and immune recovery. Readily Soluble & Palatable: Dissolves completely in drinking water to yield a clear, slightly sweet, refreshing solution that pets willingly lap up, eliminating the struggle of forced hydration.
