Description

Clear stubborn mixed bacterial-fungal infections, dry oozing hot spots, and stop intense scratching with Intas Kiskin Medicated Skin Lotion, available online at VetMitra. Skin conditions in dogs and cats frequently present as mixed, complicated dermatoses. Humid weather, environmental allergies, insect bites, or flea saliva compromise the epidermal barrier. Opportunistic bacteria (Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Pseudomonas) and fungal pathogens (Malassezia pachydermatis, Microsporum canis) readily colonize these inflamed sites together. The animal responds with frantic biting, licking, and clawing, producing raw, weeping lesions ("hot spots") that spread rapidly through the fur. Intas Kiskin Lotion provides comprehensive relief by targeting four key pathways simultaneously: Rapid Anti-Inflammatory & Anti-Itch Power (Clobetasol Propionate): A Class I high-potency topical corticosteroid that suppresses phospholipase A2 and pro-inflammatory cytokine pathways. It rapidly relieves intense redness (erythema), localized heat, swelling, and burning itch sensations, interrupting the destructive itch-scratch cycle within hours. Broad-Spectrum Antibacterial Action (Ofloxacin): A broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV. It provides reliable bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and stubborn Gram-negative skin pathogens, clearing purulent exudates and preventing bacterial pyoderma. Targeted Antifungal & Yeast Clearance (Miconazole Nitrate): An established imidazole antifungal that blocks fungal 14-alpha-demethylase, disrupting ergosterol synthesis and compromising fungal cell membrane integrity. It effectively clears Malassezia yeast overgrowth and dermatophytic ringworm fungi. Astringent & Healing Support (Zinc Sulphate): Acts as a mild astringent to coagulate surface proteins and dry weeping, oozing lesions, while delivering ionic zinc to support fibroblast proliferation and skin re-epithelialization. Fluid Lotion Format for Haired & Weeping Lesions: Unlike thick ointments that trap moisture and mat the hair coat, Kiskin Lotion spreads smoothly across large or fur-covered surfaces, penetrates deep to the epidermal level, and absorbs cleanly without greasy residue.
