Description

Clear stubborn fungal overgrowths, resolve mixed bacterial pyoderma, and eliminate foul-smelling greasy coat crusts with Intas Conaseb Medicated Shampoo, available online at VetMitra. In tropical climates across India, canine and feline skin infections rarely stem from a single pathogen. When the epidermal barrier is compromised by flea bites, humidity, or atopic allergies, opportunistic bacteria (Staphylococcus pseudintermedius) and yeasts (Malassezia pachydermatis) proliferate together. This produces mixed dermatitis characterized by hair loss, greasy blackening of the skin (hyperpigmentation), circular scaly lesions (ringworm), weeping pustules, and a pungent, sour "cheesy/yeasty" odor accompanied by intense scratching. Intas Conaseb delivers powerful, multi-modal clinical resolution through a synergistic triple-active antiseptic matrix: Targeted Antifungal Eradication (Ketoconazole 2% w/v): A potent broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal agent that inhibits fungal cytochrome P-450 dependent 14-alpha-demethylase. This blocks the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol, disrupting fungal cell membrane permeability and integrity. It clears Malassezia pachydermatis yeast overgrowth and dermatophytic fungal species (Microsporum canis, Trichophyton mentagrophytes). Broad-Spectrum Antibacterial Action (Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2% w/v): A cationic biguanide antiseptic that binds negatively charged bacterial cell walls, causing cytoplasmic leakage and rapid cell lysis. Highly effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative skin pathogens, preventing superficial and deep bacterial folliculitis without inducing bacterial resistance. Follicular Debridement & Cleansing (Cetrimide): A quaternary ammonium antiseptic surfactant that helps loosen adherent scales, coagulated crusts, dried pus, and oxidized sebum plugs. This clears the hair follicles so ketoconazole and chlorhexidine can penetrate deep into dermal micro-environments. Controls Seborrheic Flare-Ups & Odors: Clears rancid fatty acids produced by proliferating yeast, neutralizing foul doggy odor and leaving the coat refreshed, soft, and easy to manage. Safe Across Dogs & Cats: Formulated with high dermatological tolerance for both canines and felines, providing versatile management for multi-pet households.
