Intas Cefpet Dry Syrup Broad-Spectrum 3rd-Generation Cephalosporin Pediatric Antibiotic Oral Suspension for Dogs

Select Variant: 30 ml

Description

Ensure accurate weight-based antibiotic dosing, eliminate the stress of pilling small pets, and resolve stubborn bacterial infections with Intas Cefpet Dry Syrup (30ml Reconstituted), available online at VetMitra. Administering oral tablets to pediatric puppies, kittens, small toy breeds, or reluctant cats is notoriously difficult. Splitting hard adult tablets frequently causes inaccurate, sub-therapeutic dosing or dangerous overdose spikes. Furthermore, crushing bitter antibiotic tablets into food often results in total meal refusal and foamy hypersalivation. Intas Cefpet Dry Syrup provides a palatable liquid alternative for pediatric and small-companion animal therapeutics: Targeted Bacterial Cell-Wall Lysis (Cefpodoxime Proxetil 100mg / 5ml): An orally bioavailable prodrug ester that rapidly hydrolyzes in vivo to active cefpodoxime. As an advanced third-generation cephalosporin, it binds tightly to bacterial penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), inhibiting the transpeptidation step of peptidoglycan synthesis in the bacterial cell wall. This activates autolytic enzymes, triggering rapid bactericidal cell lysis. Overcomes Beta-Lactamase Degradation: Highly resistant to breakdown by plasmid- and chromosome-mediated beta-lactamase enzymes produced by stubborn pathogens. It reliably clears infections where first-generation penicillins, amoxicillin, or cephalexin have failed. Broad-Spectrum Antimicrobial Coverage: Highly active against Gram-positive skin pathogens (Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Streptococcus canis) as well as common Gram-negative uropathogens and respiratory invaders (Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida). Milliliter-Precise Dosing for Small Pets: The liquid oral format allows veterinarians and pet parents to titrate exact fraction-of-a-milliliter doses tailored to small puppies, growing kittens, and toy breeds (Pugs, Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus) whose low body weights make tablet splitting impossible. Convenient Once-Daily Dosing (SID): Due to its favorable pharmacokinetic profile and prolonged plasma half-life, therapeutic tissue levels remain elevated for a full 24 hours, requiring only a single daily administration. Complete Reconstitution Kit: Comes with high-purity dry micro-granules packaged alongside a dedicated ampoule of Sterile Water for Injection (WFI) to guarantee sterile, lump-free suspension preparation.
