Description

Provide complete internal and external parasite defense with Bayer / Elanco Advocate Spot-On for Large Cats (>4kg), available online at VetMitra. Felines are exceptionally susceptible to a variety of stealthy parasites. Beyond biting fleas and chronic Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), cats face significant threats from internal nematodes, feline lungworms, debilitating ear mites, and feline heartworm disease—which can be fatal in felines even with a very low worm burden. Attempting to manage these diverse threats with separate oral dewormers, ear drops, and topical flea products causes significant stress for both cat and pet parent. Bayer Advocate simplifies complete feline wellness with a single, once-a-month topical application: Contact Flea Knockdown (Imidacloprid 80 mg): Unlike oral systemic treatments that require a flea to bite and feed on blood before dying, Imidacloprid spreads across the cutaneous lipid layer of the skin and hair, killing adult and larval fleas on contact within 12 hours. This stops painful biting, halts egg deposition, and controls Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). Deep Systemic Endectocide Absorption (Moxidectin 8 mg): Absorbs transdermally through the epidermal barrier into the bloodstream to continuously eradicate circulating microfilariae, providing 100% protection against feline heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis). Gastrointestinal & Respiratory Worm Clearance: Systemic moxidectin eliminates adult, immature, and larval stages of intestinal roundworms (Toxocara cati) and hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme), while also clearing respiratory lungworms (Aelurostrongylus abstrusus). Eradicates Ear Mites & Feline Scabies: Highly effective in treating stubborn ear mite infestations (Otodectes cynotis) and notoedric feline mange (Notoedres cati), clearing intense head-shaking and crusty lesions without stressful daily ear cleaning. Non-Invasive Pipette Application: One quick topical application at the base of the skull provides 30 full days of comprehensive protection.
