Description

Alembic Dexaflox is a sterile ophthalmic formulation combining Moxifloxacin 0.5% with Dexamethasone 0.1%. Moxifloxacin provides antibacterial activity, while dexamethasone is a corticosteroid used to reduce ocular inflammation. It may be prescribed by a veterinarian for bacterial eye infections associated with inflammation, including bacterial conjunctivitis, and in selected cases of post-procedural ocular inflammation. Because the formulation contains a corticosteroid, the eye should be examined by a veterinarian before use.
